در پی ابراز تمایل دولت مغولستان مبنی بر ایجاد کنسولگری افتخاری در تهران و معرفی آقای دکتر آرمان محقق به عنوان سر کنسول افتخاری آن کشور و موافقت دولت جمهوری اسلامی ایران، کنسولگری مغولستان در تهران در دی ماه ۱۳۹۹ گشایش یافت.
اهم وظایف کنسولگری در ایران:
- توسعه و گسترش تجارت بین دو كشور
- توسعه گردشگری بین دو کشور
- حمایت از تجار و سایر اتباع مغولستان که در حوزه فعالیت کنسولگری به کار مشغولند یا اقامت دارند و یا در حال دیدارند
Following to the government of mongolian expression of interest to open an honorary consulate in Tehran and introducing of Dr. Arman Mohagghegh as Honorary Consul General and following to the approval of the government of the Islamic republic of Iran to the aforementioned, the consulate was inaugurated in january 2021.
The consulate main tasks are as follows:
- Boosting trade between the two countries
- Boosting tourism between the two countries
- Taking care of Nepalese’ merchants and citizens who may trade or reside within the consulate district or travel to the same.
